It’s my honor and pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Dana Le . As the designer and implementer of Deyalkotha (an interactive learning platform for the disadvantaged community) project, I am blessed to have Dana on the board as an advisor as well as volunteer.

I acknowledge her contributions to our school community in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dana starts her Deyalkotha path with marginalized and underprivileged children two years ago. In 2015, She brought an innovative character building mechanism including lessons of trustworthiness, citizenship, leadership, mutual respect etc. which is not limited to the academic learning rather than to help the unfortunate children to grow up as good citizen of our planet. It deals with the development of the pragmatic skills exploring how to live healthy lives, how to live positively etc.

She introduced several new teaching paradigms and methodologies which are now part of the curriculum and practicing by the other volunteers of Deyalkotha. She had voluntarily traveled to Bangladesh and trained up the existing volunteers of Deyalkotha project. In between her visits, she communicates regularly her findings and provides support for the betterment of the project. Both personally and professionally, she is dedicated to the project despite her busy career. It’s her commitment to growth and her students’ well-being that makes Dana an outstanding educator who empowers her pupils. At her last visit in Dec 2016, Dana has conducted workshop on ‘challenging behavior’ which broadcasts an innovative way to manage the classrooms and brings great enthusiasm among the students.

Dana is a selfless, honorable individual, giving of her time and energy serving others. She has shown excellent skills to teach the children through playing and developed a rapport with students, colleagues, and parents that is characterized by mutual respect.
